Warming up for 2015

Ok, and there it is: one more year that ran away too quickly. For a lot of my friends it happened to be a very bad year. Lots of deceptions, lots of broken heart, lots of very hard times, very few positive things happened. I feel very lucky we avoided that: we renovated our flat and it was successful, no health issue, no broken heart, no nasty surprises. Now we started 2015 both sick (unluckily my family who came visiting during christmas was sick).

I spent a bit of time showing them the city. It had been quite some time I haven’t been to the city center (too many tourists), but it remains as always: beautiful, magical.

We celebrated 24th with the czech style (trout, potatoes salad), and did the 25th with the french style. I’m so happy to have a french bakery that is talented, bought a few buches from them, they were so pretty, and with some macarons!

We went also to visit Cesky Krumlov, one of the most beautiful town of Czech Republic. It was so beautiful as it started to snow that day:

For the 31st we went to see the city going crazy from the top of Vysehrad. Everybody was throwing fireworks from all over the place, it was crowded, it was snowing, it was… wow!

And then it was back to work, back to some new challenges, a new year. No resolution, I prefer long term goals. I’m working also on some new socks with sole. Will let you know more once I finish the first one 🙂

Happy New Year!
